Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are getting Android Oreo update in US

Samsung after seeding numerous Oreo for the Galaxy Note 8, and now these devices are also finally getting the Oreo update. The latest update comes in at around 1.4GB in size.

Android oreo brings the latest Samsung experience UI 9.0 to the table with a bunch of new enhancements and the much-awaited features of Oreo such as the picture in picture mode, better dual , greater auto-fill for more convenience as well as enhanced system performance.

As always the norm, these updates are available over the air and usually take some time to reach every , so be patient and wait for the notification to pop-up. Or you can keep checking them by heading over to the Settings > About Phone > System Software Updates, to look for them manually. Such major Android upgrades often cover the region in phases, covering one area at a time, ensuring everyone gets it and it doesn’t overload the servers.

Lastly, make sure you have at least 50% or more battery on your device to successfully install this update, without any issues.
